When you're a Republican and are massively losing on an issue, rule number one: attack the media. That's precisely what Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus is doing, trying to change the subject from his party's relentless war on women to the media.

“If the Democrats said we had a war on caterpillars and every mainstream media outlet talked about the fact that Republicans have a war on caterpillars, then we’d have problems with caterpillars,” Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt” airing this weekend. “It’s a fiction.”

Let's see. Multiple votes to shut down Planned Parenthood. Forced transvaginal ultrasounds. Immaculate conception in Arizona. The Blunt amendment. Texas taking health care away from 130,000 women. The Ryan-Romney budget.

All made up by the media. Maybe we can talk about the war on caterpillars when they try to force them to have transvaginal ultrasounds.
