This is my first diary so I hope the community is not too hard on me.
I have noticed a decrease in the volume of anti-Obama diaries here, but I have no doubt that many of the people who claim liberals should not support President Obama in November are still around.
There is something they need to consider.

The Republicans waging their War on Women have made it very clear they want to undo all the progress that has been made over the last several decades by those seeking to enforce a woman’s right to control her body. The conservatives’ would like nothing more than to overturn Roe v. Wade. Right now, there is a five-to-four majority on the Court that would uphold Roe v. Wade. It is not outside the realm of possibility that the Court will hear a serious challenge to the law in the next few years. In fact, many of the state laws passed by right wing legislatures in the last few years seem designed to bring about a new challenge to Roe v. Wade.

Romney might have pretended to be pro-choice in Massachusetts but I don’t buy it. If you want a look at the real Romney, read this: http://www.vanityfair.com/.... This is a man with no empathy for women.

Obviously there are plenty of other reasons to support President Obama. He has not been perfect, but he has moved this country in the right direction, albeit not as quickly or as far as many, including myself, might wish. With the Patient Protection and Affordability Act he has taken a major step towards universal health care. He has done more for gay right than any president in history. He has made major investments in green energy. He has ended the Iraq War.
If despite all this, you still aren't sure whether to support Obama (I doubt anyone here will actually vote for Romney but they might waste their vote on a fringe candidate or just stay home), remember:
