Over at National Review they have only one person, Christian Schneider, intermittently covering the Wisconsin Insurgency, as opposed to the numerous bloggers we have on this site, such as our own dear Giles Goat Boy.
Now, I suspect, that desperate for copy, Mr. Schneider has been lurking on DKOS, for in today's post, he writes:
The Democratic party yesterday canceled a “unity rally” slated for Wednesday at the state capitol, in which all the candidates were supposed to hold hands and pledge to support the winner. Barrett pulled out of the rally, perhaps out of a hesitance to be seen celebrating with union leaders and activists. Whatever the case, Democrats seem to be a lot less “unified” than they would have voters believe. (A poster on the Daily Kos named “Giles the Goat Boy” makes his extreme displeasure known here.)
Below the fold, the zombies at National Review, desperate for sustenance, search for brains,
b-r-a-i-n-s ... !!!
And we hear from the ironically named NR commenter "Greetings, Earthling":
"A poster on the Daily Kos named 'Giles the Goat Boy' " ...
You have told me everything I need to know.
And the reposte from "aardunza":
Just as long as he isn't "bald as a roc's egg" !
I think this is excellent news, what is it Gandhi said?
First they mock you, then they fear you, then you're on the cover of Rolling Stone.
Or something like that.
Unfortunately there's only five comments on Mr. Schneider's NR blog post on the Wisconsin Primary, so we'll have to go elsewhere if we're going to get an inside look at the Republican plan to keep control of the state.
I think this youtube video, probably shot at the Secret Walker Headquarters, may give some impression of their strategy:
UPDATE: Giles has posted a response to Mr. Schnieder over at NR:
Gee, Christian the Schneider, you could have at least gotten my name right, even though you completely misinterpreted my post on Daily Kos. In fairness, you're probably unfamiliar with demanding integrity and accountability from one's own political party and not just drinking the Kool-Aid.
Don't you worry about unity. We're solid on our side.
Looking forward to beating Scott the Walker on Cinco Goodbye-o, June 5th, unless Arthur beats him in the primary tonight. Solidarity, bro.
