From the BBC News today:Libyan government regains control of Tripoli airport
From the link above:
Libyan forces have regained control of the main airport in Tripoli, after an armed militia overran the runway demanding their leader's release.
That is really amazing. After the end of the civil war and the ousting of the previous regime, it seems that that country is in total chaos. Beyond the widespread torture by the new regime or militias supporting that regime, it now seems that different factions are now fighting each other for control.
The outcome of the intervention in Libya was a disaster. Libya is a destroyed country, the same way Iraq is. Removing bad dictators is good in theory, but the outcome is not always good. Iraq and Libya are such examples.
