Today, for the 33rd time, The United States House of Representatives voted to REPEAL Obamacare. Thirty three times this bill has been "repealed" by the House of Representatives. The vote? 244 heartless, out of touch oafs who want to see upwards of 40,000 people die a year due to lack of health care coverage, to 185 courageous individuals who want to see these small reforms stay in place.
I can't really wrap my head around voting 33 times to repeal something, and then, having the absolute fucking nerve to not have a plan if your repeal wishes come to fruition. It really reeks of "Hey, I got mine. Fuck you"
And by the way, where is the jobs bill republicans? In all the storm and fury over abortions and the health care law that has gone on in the past two years (go figure that, the exact same amount of time the thugs have controlled the House), there has been absolutely no action on putting regular Americans (like myself) back to work. Oh, but don't worry about that, -sheep-....uhh I mean the republican constituency, they'll get right to work on the jobs thing as soon as they have control of every single fetus in america, and deny affordable health care coverage to millions of Americans.
Speaking of jobs, this nice little image just popped up on my FB feed. Please take it in. It is absolutely on point, and on message about this do-nothing iteration of the House of Representatives.

The cost of keeping Congress running is almost 30,000,000 dollars a day. Imagine how much money (not to mention our nation's precious time) has been wasted on repealing a bill that, in fact, helps every. single. struggling. american. in. this. country. Does this sound like the party of "fiscal responsibility" to you, because it sounds like to me they are the party of moral bankruptcy.
Which brings me to an extremely important question, one that has haunted me since the days I first got into politics --
Why are we paying these bastards again???????? Because that is the TRUE definition of insanity.
