Refusing To Sign Up Will Kill The Poor
GOP governors, most notably, Rick Scott of Florida, Scott Walker of Wisconsin, Rick Perry of Texas, and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, are proud to tell their constituents that they will refuse to implement the Affordable Care Act in their states. Their refusal to accept Medicaid money from the federal government will effectively kill many of the poor people who reside in their states. They are in essence saying, "We don't want you to have medical care when you need it, and we do not care if you die!" In fact, Republican governors sound like they would prefer it if the poor in their states WOULD die...
These governors are the Red Menace of the 21st century and they must be condemned for their lack of compassion, as well as for their stupidity. With the implementation of the Medicaid provision of the Affordable Care Act just around the corner, these fools have decided that they do not want their residents to reap any benefits that would come with access to health care or medications.
"Let them eat cake!" will now be replaced with, "Let them die!" and Republican governors, as well as Republicans at large, love it!
Talk about death panels!
