Yes, this image is obviously Photoshopped. I know that for a fact, because I did it.
So, Chick-fil-A is proud to be anti-gay, and we all know what the Westboro Baptist Church thinks. I think it's a match made in (a place). I think they should have a commitment ceremony (one that commits their members and executives to a mental institution).
But it's okay, since their personal interpretation and version of Christianity is that lying is either okay, or at least not as "wrong" as being gay. Of course, most Christians remember that God had a Top Ten list, in which He included lying (bearing false witness), etc... but for some reason forgot to include the gay thing in the Top Ten list. (And don't forget that the book of Leviticus also called eating pig and shellfish an abomination- sorry Red Lobster and BBQ joints.)
The CEO and son of the founder of Chick-fil-A is okay with lying about the safety of Muppet toys (which they supposedly only found out about the day after the Muppet Company ended their contract). After all, he was defending their brand of Christian principles which, as I said, makes gay the wrongest thing, but not lying.
I guess the men in the Cathy family (that's a kinda gay name for men) still have their first wives. He seemed a little specific about that, as if he was either signalling a future change, or was wanting to specifically condemn Republican conservative stalwarts Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich (who've each had at least three wives (who's the polygamist now?) - oh, they weren't at the same time. I think Newt's slogan is "learn-em and burn-em." At least the "Cathys" seem to be against that.
Whatever. Chick-fil-A is so gay for giving a shit about who consenting adults find happiness with. Westboro is "off the cliff crazy," but Chick-fil-A is just run-of-the-mill "I hate blacks and browns and gays and women should be in the kitchen" bigots. As if that statement makes them less "off-the-cliff."
Get over the shit already- "It get's better" applies to All of America, if we get over who my God loves versus your god. Oh, and from a capitalism perspective, Gay Marriage is apparently a good thing (think about shoes and shopping): http://www.mikebloomberg.com/...
I'm not gay (I'm obligated to say that in case a woman finds this post intriguing). And it doesn't matter if I give a shit about gay people and what they do, because they don't need our blessing America. Find somebody to love. Search until you do. Be yourself.
And when it comes to government recognition- it shouldn't matter what color people are, what sex they are, or whether they think god is a he, a she, or doesn't exist.
