Hey listen, there's a group of angry former military guys (OPSECTeam) who are getting a lot of press talking junk about the Bin Laden deal and the Commander in Chief. These guys are saying some pretty crappy things about one of the signature moments in our history. It was the day the United States captured and eliminated the number one man on the FBI's wanted list. Osama Bin Laden. Now, a lot of Americans look back on this event with major pride. Pride for the men who served, pride for the Commander in Chief who had the balls to go where many would not have and pride that the United State fulfilled a promise to it's citizens to get those SOB's who killed so many Americans. But guess what... now that memory is being besmirched by a bunch of vets. Yeah, vets - just like you. They say it's not political, but their timing makes me wonder. Can I ask you a few questions after the orange squiggle? Good, thanks.
Do these vets speak for you? I mean. Are they right in their outrage? They say this administration did not take out Bin Laden. So... my next question is this, how many Presidents have named the actual people who exterminate enemies of the United States? Would these same men receive the blame if the mission had gone bad?
Do these men speak for Vets who have served our country? Do you want recognition for every bullet fired? Or every piece of intel you provided? I'm curious if this is a new theme for retired vets or something because I don't know of any other President who has received this type of blow back.
These men feel cheated of their glory from all their hard work, is this how most vets feel? If these men speak for Vets, then please help me understand what having a job in the military really means.
However, if these SOB's don't speak for vets, I beg you to set the record straight. Let the country know that these men DO NOT tell the story for vets. That they are skewed in their vision. Twitter, blog, pass out flyers, start a movement even.
For these men to cast aspersions on the capture and killing of Bin Laden, an event that brought so much closure to so many is UnAmerican and full of sh**. This is something we can all do. We can tell that group of men and anyone else who agrees with them, that they do not speak for us. Obama gave the order to kill Bin Laden and without that, Bin Laden would still be alive!
Let's stop taking this crap and speak out! I know you're thinking no one will fall for the poop those guys are peddling, but remember this is the kind of news that Fox thrives on. You'd be surprised how those tiny seeds spread. But, we can talk just as well as they can.
Be proactive. It costs nothing to send a tweet or a small blurb on Facebook letting others know you disagree with these clowns. Do it now. Help others get fired up over this BS. Stand with the Commander in Chief.
There are some things the President can and should do. But this, we can do. We can start a movement to challenge a lot of the crap hitting the airwaves. Each one tell one (or five or Ten...) you get the idea.
Take a minute and let the OPSECTeam know you don't agree with their view of how the military runs and that they do not speak for you!
