So I haven't been thrilled with the latest polls to come out of PPP today. The Missouri Senate poll still shows Todd Akin ahead by one point but that poll was conducted in a day and had a nine point lead in Republican respondents. The Wisconsin poll doesn't surprise me, I figured Romney would get a bump with Paul Ryan on the ticket but he only leads one point and PPP still believes Obama can win Wisconsin. What I wasn't thrilled about was the latest Massachusetts Senate Poll which showed Scott Brown back in the lead. Check out the link below:

Brown's been able to convince MA voters that he is a moderate and that he's an independent voice in the U.S. Senate and even gets Obama and Democratic votes. It's one of those polls that makes me want to bang my head against the table. I just don't get the registered voters in our party. There is one big aspect that can work heavily in Liz Warren's favor. The majority of MA voters want a Democratically controlled U.S. Senate. What Liz Warren has to do is convince the Obama voters who are also voting for Brown that if they want a Democratically controlled Senate, they need to vote for Warren. If you have friends in MA, talk to them and see if they are voting for Scott Brown but want a Democratically controlled Senate. I believe we can win seats in Nevada, Maine, Indiana and even Arizona but Liz Warren is needed to maintain the control of the Senate and she is a strong voice in the fight against Wall Street. Take a moment and donate to her campaign and even tweet her about using this latest PPP poll as a blueprint for what she needs to do to win.

4:25 PM PT: Finally happy to see one of my diaries get so many comments and get people engaged in this conversation. I know some of the commenters have been critical of both Warren as a candidate and her campaign. Here's what I want to say; Warren is an excellent candidate and she is doing well for her first campaign. She has time to turn the table around again and win she just needs to emphasize that if you want to a Democratic majority in the Senate, she needs to be elected. I believe she can be this year's Sheldon Whitehouse. In fact, lets all tweet Sheldon Whitehouse to help out Warren's campaign. I bet you he can offer her some great advice.
4:29 PM PT: Here's Senator Whitehouse's Twitter:

Here's Liz Warren's Twitter:

Lets get these two talking to each other. Lincoln Chaffee was a true moderate Republican and was far from the worst of the bunch in terms of GOP Senators but he was beaten by Whitehouse.
Wed Aug 22, 2012 at 5:25 PM PT: Well it looks like Elizabeth Warren saw the PPP poll and is taking it's advice. Check out this article I found on Huffington Post:

This section really shows that she is taking the right direction in her campaign:
"But Warren counters that the if Brown remains in the Senate, Republicans will have a greater chance of taking control of the body and pursuing a broader GOP agenda that includes opposition to those things that Brown supported. She also said that Brown has opposed items that many women favor.
'Scott Brown voted against equal pay for equal work. I’m going to keep talking about that," Warren said in a statement sparked by Brown's curt dismissal of her criticisms. “Scott Brown voted for the Blunt amendment to limit women’s access to birth control. I’m going to keep talking about that.'"
