I first started reading blogs when Josh Marshall put up TPM. As the drumbeat for war with Iraq accelerated, Josh referred to Kenneth's Pollack's "The Threatening Storm" I was
way suspicious, but gave Josh the benny of doubt, and got the book out of the library.
And as soon as I started reading it, I was overcome with the impression that this writing was pure propaganda. It walked like a duck.
And I think the current media buy-in is exactly the same.
