I don't mean to be insulting. I try to respect everyone regardless of their political or philosophical views, but how in the fuck are there still people who consider themselves "undecided" with regards to the presidential election. I've been struggling to grasp this concept. Are they merely ashamed to identify themselves with one political party in particular? Have they not been paying attention to the news in any way whatsoever? Are they stupid?
For a long time undecided voters have been given some type of Socratic status, as though they are more intelligent with regards to their votes. In all honesty, they either don't care or are just plain stupid. How can you possibly be undecided when the party platforms are so drastically opposed to one another? I am not advocating for one party or the other, but to say now (in the most polarized society we've seen in a long time) that you are undecided seems like you are admitting that you have paid no attention to whats going on.
I am completely cognizant of the fact that a lot of people don't have the benefit of being able to follow the campaigns on a day to day basis. But please, this isn't just some election with politicians who are all the same. This is an election which will shape the future of our country, our lives, and our childrens lives. Take the time to be informed and make a decision that you think best represents the values that you hold so dearly.
