4:01 PM PT: Welcome to our last night of liveblogging the 2012 Democratic National Convention. Here's tonight's schedule. And guess what? We're in luck: After last night's spellbinder by President Bill Clinton, we've got another president giving a speech tonight. I think you know his name. Get ready to have some fun!
4:08 PM PT: Chuck Todd was just talking about how if (if?) President Obama delivers a strong speech tonight, and gets a bit of a bounce of the convention, Mitt Romney really won't have another opportunity to change the race until October. That's not exactly breaking news, but it's nice to know the CW is congealing around what we've known for a while: President Obama and Democrats are winning this thing.
4:15 PM PT: Beau Biden just nominated his father, and Vice President Biden has just been officially nominated by acclamation.
4:17 PM PT: Um:
Things you won’t hear about tonight at #DNC2012 – the supermajority Obama enjoyed his first 2 years in office. #ObamaIsntWorking

Actually, Reince is right. But he has no idea why he's right. Or he's lying. Because President Obama didn't have a super majority for his first two years. Yes, there were was a tiny window between the seating of Al Franken (July, 2009) and when Ted Kennedy passed away (August, 2009). But for most of his first two years, Republicans were able to use the filibuster with impunity. As you may remember, the stimulus only passed with Republican votes.

Joe Biden nominated as the 2012 Democratic VP Nominee by acclimation. Once again, Pat Caddell is proven wrong. #Shocker

4:26 PM PT: Foo Fighters vs. G.E. Smith band. Dems vs. GOP. Obama vs. Romney. Tough choice, right?
4:30 PM PT: I mean, did the GOP not totally clown us when it comes to music?
And don't forget, George W. Bush showed us what a real president is like. Unlike that redneck from Arkansas or that Kenyan from Indonesia.
