Made my contributions this morning

This is not a long message. Last cycle I gave early and often to Obama and other Democrats. This cycle I have resisted giving...the feeling I  had of excitement and possibility got buried in the muck of a health care bill that didn't include a public option, in stimulus packages that were far short of necessary. Basically, I became discouraged by the reality of the policy process. But after everything at the convention and Obama's speech last night I am reminded that if I am silent other voices who advocate disastrous policies will go unchecked. So this morning I donated to both Obama and to Elizabeth Warren...a head and heart strategy.
