There is a meme going around on the Ryan-Romney deficit reduction / tax plan that I think is inaccurate.
The claim is that the Republican nominees refuse to specify the actual tax loopholes that they propose to close in order to balance the federal budget, and that they therefore are not being sufficiently transparent.

My friends, let me urge you to give Romney and Ryan a break, and take them at face value.
In point of fact, they have detailed every single tax loophole that they intend to go after.
Every last one.
They named all of them again this morning on the Sunday blatherfests.
The criticism is therefore unfounded: in point of fact, they are utterly transparent.
