In Germany, the average auto worker makes twice as much as in the US (plus better state benefits), the companies make more cars and are quite profitable. And they have unions. When those companies open plants in the US, those conditions go away. It seems the governmental and union conditions in Germany lead to a more prosperous and more profitable situation., according to conservatives, this is not supposed to happen, but it does. Government regs and unions work together to make things better for business.
