Just a note about why I write diaries and what they signify.....to me
It really goes along the lines of a song:
Jesus died for somebody's sins but not mine
Meltin' in a pot of thieves
Wild card up my sleeve
Thick heart of stone
My sins my own
They belong to me, me
People say 'beware!'
But I don't care
The words are just
Rules and regulations to me, me
Some have pretensions to journalism
Not mine.
Some pretend to reveal the true meaning of the world.
Not mine.
I write more as a note to myself, if anyone wants to come along for the ride they are more than welcome.
I write how I feel and how from how I see the world, if you don't agree that is fine by me, I probably don't agree with you either.
The only opinions I can control are mine and indeed they are the only ones that I wish to control.
I deal with data on a daily basis, and the results tend not to be as black and white as often as I would like, indeed often they are open to interpretation and I use my expertise in my chosen field to interpret them.
Same thing goes for the rest as well, and the result comes down to knowledge and expertise or even lack thereof.
We all have opinions and interpret the information we receive in different ways based on who we are, and what we believe we know.
I know I can be wrong, sometimes it takes a little while to form an opinion, I try and read every comment in my diaries and if they don't start off along the lines of "you stupid bitch" I will think about them. Maybe I'll not immediately change tack and agree that I am indeed "a stupid bitch" and I will try an defend my point of view. In time who knows.
Sneakily I might even write a diary to see what surfaces, to see if there is any logic in my opinion. Gosh, I'm gonna get accused of demagoguery....again.
We all learn, and I do regard my diaries as a learning process.
If you enjoy, great; if you are rendered unto a spitting fur-ball of rage, that is fine as well.
Counting the time, then you came to my diary
And you whispered to me and we took the big plunge
And oh. you were so good, oh, you were so fine
And I gotta tell the world that I make her mine make her mine
Make her mine make her mine make her mine make her mine
This is just my way of writing diaries, I cannot speak for anyone else and theirs.
If something I write makes you think, great, if something I write makes you fume, tell me about it and I will think about it.
Just a note; party politics don't hold much interest for me when used to justify a point.
