Just as the title says: Don't visit healthcare exchange websites today if you don't need insurance.
The reason is simple enough: The sites are being overloaded. Even well designed sites, like that of Connecticut's AccessHealthCT, are having trouble with the server load according to some kossaks.
The federal government's site is also having issues (as a somewhat alarmist diary on the rec list has detailed).
Even if it's just out of curiosity, I think it would be best to wait at least a few days (as glitches are worked out) so that the people who actually need health insurance and want to enroll get priority access.
If we as individuals can do things to help make the rollout of the PPACA (Obamacare) go even a little bit more smoothly, then I'd say lets do those things!
