Which presidents raised the debt ceiling
by Pam Tobey and Darla Cameron, washingtonpost.com -- Sept. 24, 2013
My two cents:
It occurs to me, that each new President inherits the prior President's National Debt ledger.
And two:
The Debt Ceiling really doesn't seem to be "doing its job" -- whatever that was, when it was first conceived of.
Follow-up Question:
Where are the "Revenue Floors" to counter-balance the "Debt Ceilings," in these "not-so grand National Debt" discussions?
