I just saw an article on cnn.com in which the Chamber of Commerce suggested that we increase the federal fuel tax to help fix roads and bridges. While I agree that our infrastructure is in a state of disrepair I feel that a more appropriate tax would be one on the big oil companies (exxon mobile, shell etc . . .). It could be done proportionally to how much money they are making off of our drivers. Seems more fair to me.
