House unanimously approves back pay for 800,000 furloughed federal workers
Basicly the House has voted almost unanimously (407 vs 435) to pay all the furloughed workers back pay for this shutdown. Also I think that this is also a way for them to ease the long term memory of this episode, I guess if the House if pulling this tactic out already then the stance of the Senate and the Dem party is working so far. I hope to be back at work with my government friends soon but I want it to be for the right reasons and not having the country lose more for an expedient but incomplete resolution to these budget issues...
