There are many ways kossacks have been supporting the Philippines, post Haiyan.
I'm asking for one more: support Yeb Saño. He is the Philippines' lead representative at the UN Climate Change summit. The talks are happening now and for the next 2 weeks in Poland.

A year ago, he spoke on the "hundreds of thousands of people who have been rendered homeless" by a record-breaking storm in the Philippines, Typhoon Bopha. It hit a region (Mindanao) that doesn't typically experience typhoons, and killed almost 2,000 people. He broke down in tears.
That was 2012. It's now dwarfed by Typhoon Haiyan, another record-breaking storm. Bopha and Haiyan are considered abnormal, in a country where natural disasters are expected. I shudder to think what Haiyan would have done to Manila (where I was born, and where millions live), or Cebu City. The Pacific is simply warmer than it was 100 years ago, and getting warmer.
Climate change is the elephant in the room.
