I am inspired and thankful for all the activists, blogger and supporters of the Climate change rally this past weekend.
Earth hour is something pretty much everyone can easily participate in. To explain it a bit more, this is from the Earthhour site: "Towards the end of March every year, Earth Hour brings together communities from across the world celebrating a commitment to the planet by switching off lights for one designated hour." And, yes, it is a small thing. A small step. But it is a step in the right direction and has sparked a great deal of international attention and support. And the City Challenge (see below) can help produce real and lasting change.
Last Sunday, the Sierra Club led the way. Let's see if we can keep the momentum up.

And this is the link to the Earth Hour City Challenge, which was "Founded in Sweden to celebrate Earth Hour 2011, the Earth Hour City Challenge initiative was created to celebrate cities that are taking innovative actions towards creating a greener, cleaner and more sustainable city to live in, while inspiring other cities to do the same."
