A door-to-door search is underway in Watertown, Massachusetts following a
long night of violence that left 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, also known as suspect one in the black hat, dead, and his 19-year-old brother Dzokhar, suspect two in the white hat, on the run. Boston is at a standstill with residents told to stay in their homes and transit systems shut down and a no-fly zone issued for Watertown.
Police reportedly have an idea of where Dzokhar is, but obviously given that Tamerlan had an IED strapped to him, they will approach him with caution.
MSNBC reports that two people have been taken into custody at the home where the brothers lived, the location where CNN had previously reported what appeared to be a major police action.

6:03 AM PT (Jed Lewison): Mother Jones' Adam Serwer says he's found a YouTube page of the dead bombing suspect.
The deceased suspect in the bombing of the Boston marathon, which killed three and injured more than 170, appears to have posted a video extolling an extremist religious prophecy associated with Al Qaeda to his YouTube page.

6:06 AM PT (Jed Lewison): NBC's Pete Williams says the concern about other suspects, including family members, is fading: the Dzokhar Tsarnaev, the "white-capped suspect" is the primary focus of concern.
6:12 AM PT (Jed Lewison): A high school classmate of Dzokhar Tsarnaev says she is shocked to learn he was behind the marathon bombing. Also an interesting note: she says she recognized him immediately, but because she believed the suspect had already been identified as missing Brown student Sunil Tripathi, she assumed the resemblance was a coincidence and went back to sleep. It's a side note, but a powerful lesson in how the brain can be conditioned to process information—and the dangers of leaping to conclusions.
6:35 AM PT (Jed Lewison):
Just spoke to two Transit police officers who told me that their colleague who was shot is "going to live" and is "a good, brave dude."
