At least that is what the lead should read over at the Huffington Post about Obama speaking about "Going Bulworth." Seems Obama is a little frustrated and wants to speak truth to the American people, instead of being encumbered by centrist speak. Unfortunately, Obama saw some version of the movie Bulworth that exists in an alternate universe.
The version I recall seeing had an idealistic liberal who was depressed to the point of suicide because his tenor in Washington turned him into a slave of corporate interests that had him mouthing conservative talking points. In fact, the conflict between his real values and those of the Washington elites got so bad that he hired a hit man to kill himself. The twist was the he intended to screw one of his campaign contributors, a major insurance company, into providing for his daughter in the event of his untimely death.
Seeing death on the horizon and suffering from severe depression, Bulworth lets it all hang out in his last few days.
Now, how the hell does any of the above relate to Obama? Obama has been a creature of the political establishment and the corporate world. He talks a good game during campaigns, but doesn't deliver when it comes time to govern. In his time as a state senator, Obama never kicked up a fuss. As President, Obama has quickly abandoned liberal campaign promises and tacked to the right. Obama has given the Bush Administration and Wall Street passes on criminal behavior because he "wants to move forward" and not look to the past.
Obama is a corporatist pretending to be a liberal. He poaches liberal or progressive talking points, then governs for his major campaign contributors. However, Obama is not conflicted by this. He has regularly told liberal supporters to grow up, or he has had one of his many lackeys call liberal and progressives "fucking retards."
Obama is the anti-Bulworth.
For Obama to go Bulworth would mean that he would transform into antimatter. Given Obama's mass, I think there would be enough antimatter there to destroy the Earth.
