I went horseback riding a few years ago, an the guy told us that if we brought the horses back sweaty, we would have to pay extra for them to be cleaned and cooled down.
I asked him how could we avoid this seeing as how it was 97 degrees outside already. he had no reply worth repeating so I asked him to give me my money back and he refused. I must have missed something because we hadn't even mounted the animals at this point. I asked him again but this time I said it in a very low volume: he relented, as a matter of fact, he seemed eager to give me back my money! :)
Poor service may be a regularly accepted practice at some fancy and over-priced restaurant, but I never pay for abuse, and I do not pay for less-than-what I am actually paying to receive!
I love horse, and I was disappointed that I was unable to enjoy the ride that day. My best consolation was in the fact that the next group o people simply walked away from this nimrod without even asking for a price!
So long, ranger!
