With all of the reporting on Syria situation it is easy to loose track of what is important. Wrong questions are asked, such as
Is it legal for US to strike alone?
How do we hit?
What are the repercussions?
What about China? Russia? Iran?
Is Obama a scaremonger?
Should we impeach him if US strikes?
Etc etc etc
The most important question of all should be - did Assad do it? Do we have enough evidence Assad regime actually used chemical weapons on its own people near its own capitol? It should not be that difficult to figure it out given UN inspectors are on the ground collecting hard evidence. Sarin is not a vaporware and can't just evaporate. There were reportedly thousands of people exposed and many are dead.
Everything else is just noise. Just answer that one simple question BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. We should have at least same standards for attacking the whole countries of people as we have for convicting a SINGLE PERSON for a petty crime.
