As we reported earlier, the John Birch Society was seemingly banished by the GOP and, as a result, seemingly left politics a few decades ago. What the monied Birch Society members did was create foundations that then funded JBS philosophy-influenced political non-profits designed to influence US policy.
In my research, one foundation repeatedly appeared: The Sarah Scaife Foundation
The following Muckety Map shows what organizations the SSFoundation funds. Click here for a larger, interactive version of this map. Beneath the interactive map you will find an interactive list of each item showing on the map. This is an amazingly powerful research tool. I open two windows, one with the map, and another with the map that I use to click on any one item on the map to see what the connections for an item might be, providing greater insight. I use the basic Muckety Map to then create my own version, you can do the same.
I provide this for those interested in further research. For those interested in creating your own Muckety Map version, you will find instructions here.
MAJOR RIGHT WING FOUNDATIONS & Non-Profits

Happy researching!
You will also find further proof that today's Tea Party and Libertarian Party and their candidates like Rand Paul are reincarnations of The John Birch Society.
Here are two articles:
This article is about a woman raised in a home of John Birch Society parents, leaders of the JBS in Chicago, and how they attempted to brainwash her and her siblings.
INSIDER Proof: Tea & Libertarian Parties ARE The John Birch Society
From the Huffington Post 2011 article exposing Ron Paul as a John Birch Society devotee. Rand Paul was raised by and possibly brainwashed by Ron's JBS beliefs:
President Ron Paul? Ron Paul and the John Birch Society
Rep. Ron Paul's got a public image as a sort of amiable eccentric -- Uncle Fuzzy in DC. He favors legalizing marijuana, getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan and generally cutting the defense budget, and ending corporate welfare -- all positions that get him a sympathetic hearing with a lot of Americans. And he knows how to sound sensible, principled, and down-to-earth.
Where did Rep. Paul get these ideas? Well, mostly from the seed bank of the John Birch Society. While he's not a member, he's been close to it since at least the 1970s.
In recent years the JBS has played a major -- and acknowledged -- role in the Tea Party, which is better known for being funded by the likes of the Koch Brothers.
Here is Rand Paul, is his own gloating words in his Senate win speech bragging that - "Theres a Tea Party Tidal Wave" at minute 1:30 - youtube link

There's no lack of proof that Rand Paul and today's Libertarian and Tea Parties are reincarnated John Birch Society parties.
Please share this with those friends of yours who might be hoodwinked by Dr. Fuzzy and Dr. Fuzzy Jr's so-called Libertarian rhetoric.
Many of today's youth have never heard of the John Birch Society and lots of money is being donated to colleges and universities by the foundations and non-profits listed in the Muckety Map above.
Conservatives are buying higher education influence, hoping to influence today's students with deceptive rhetoric.
Here's proof of collegiate influence of two other sons of a John Birch Society founder and devotee:
