Three weeks ago Social Justice advocates in Charleston, SC learned that the local Chamber of Commerce was sponsoring a seminar on how to prevent social justice efforts from operating successfully in that generally progressive community. It is being conducted by an agressive union busting firm. (Charleston, SC is a generally progressive community surrounded by a very deep, red state under rigid Republican control). The progressive response launches tomorrow on the Annaversary of 0-11 near the City's historic four corners of law as the beginning of a renewed campaign for peace, justice and shared prosperity.
The Indpendent Weekly Newspaper in charleston has published a report on the controversy. http://www.charlestoncitypaper.com/...
