According to a Capitol Police incident report, a Kahr CM9 9mm pistol – later claimed by House Speaker Tim Jones’ legislative assistant Dave Evans – was found on top of the toilet paper dispenser in a men's restroom in the Capitol basement Friday. The incident report states that the gun “was fully loaded with one round in the chamber and six rounds in the magazine.” Capitol police returned the gun to Evans after Jones’ secretary Lisa Bondurant called to report that it was misplaced.

In an interview on the Pray in Jesus Name Internet show, disgraced former Navy Chaplain Gordon James “Chaps” Klingenschmitt lamented to state Sen. Kent Lambert (R) that a Christian baker faced up to one year in jail if he continued to discriminate against LGBT couples. Klingenschmitt said that the problems all started when Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) signed the civil unions law earlier this year. [...] "It's a mind-control experiment by the majority party, the Democrats here in Colorado, to force everybody -- including children in schools, everything else -- under penalty of law to believe in homosexual marriage," [Lambert said]. [...] "This is certainly Brave New World, the Aldous Huxley novel that Big Brother is here, he's alive and well and we're going to force you into the kind of agendas that some of the greatest dictators in world history have tried to press in the past," he declared.

Imagine the distance between the sun and the star nearest to it -- a star called Alpha Centauri. That's a distance of about 4 light years. Now, imagine as many as 10,000 of our suns crammed into that relatively small space. [...] What makes this galaxy, dubbed M60-UCD1, so remarkable is that about half of its mass is found within a radius of only about 80 light years. This would make the density of stars about 15,000 times greater than found in Earth's neighborhood in the Milky Way. "Traveling from one star to another would be a lot easier in M60-UCD1 than it is in our galaxy," [said Jay Strader, Michigan State University assistant professor of physics and astronomy].
