It's not official yet, but good to hear this:
Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis and her advisers have begun informing influential Democrats that she intends to run for governor in 2014, according to multiple sources familiar with Davis’s conversations.
If she becomes the Democratic nominee, Davis would likely face Attorney General Greg Abbott in the general election. Abbott has an absurd amount of cash on hand and
leads in polls, but it's good to see Davis apparently ready to make the run.
