Tonight on TDS, Robin Williams, The Crazy Ones; Kamau's got, um, twerking with " the original Twerk master, The Diva of Big Bounce," Big Freedia; and on TCR it's shark wrangler -- er, researcher -- Chris Fischer, with OCEARCH Ocean Research.

So yeah, I'm stopping posting these diaries.

There's a whole lot of back-and-forth in my mind, but what it comes down to is, essentially: I need to be using the time I put into these diaries doing things to make some money. I've got some stuff lined up, but if anyone's got any leads on writing work (especially technical, medical, scientific), email & twitter's on my page.

I thought about doing some sentimental whatever -- 1084 diaries, first one posted 07/03/2006 (!), nearly all of them in this series -- but it's not like I won't be around. Besides, the real value in this thread has always been in the commenters. I took over from Skubwa & PsiFighter37 at a point where I needed something structured to do & they needed to move on, & now it's someone else's turn.

So Robin Williams has a new tv show, which a very quick google-and-twitter overview suggests doesn't suck. Also, the premiere aired earlier tonight (but after this writing), so I could be wrong there.
