Yesterday smoothnmellow posted a diary, "Out of the Mouths of (Ferguson) Babes...", which made the rec list. It featured a video produced by FCKH8, of young people from Ferguson MO, talking about race and racism.
The video.
Six black kids from #Ferguson, MO bluntly and sarcastically educate white America about the racist reality in 2014. Recruited from the very block where unarmed black teen Michael Brown was gunned down by a white police officer, these kids ranging in age from 6 to 13 years old, use sometimes uncomfortable humor to show white people the continued racism their generation faces. Armed ONLY with statistics (hands up, don't shoot) these articulate and adorable kids are not having it while much of white America would rather pretend racism is over.
I forwarded links to the YouTube video, "liked" it and tweeted it. I couldn't help noticing that it currently has 385 "likes" (thumbs up) and 860 "dislikes"(thumbs down) and a number of people are flagging it for removal for being "racist".
As I discussed Sunday, in "Fighting racism … one keystroke at a time", it doesn't take a lot of effort on our part to push back against the haters.
The virulent messages currently on display run the racism gamut:
(I edited this one)
NI*GERS are truly the creations of SATAN, they are the nephilim and every mother fucking god damn ni*ger in this earth should be brutally stabbed, gutted like pigs, have their dicks squeezed and torn off, and all babies grinded up in wood chippers! We must serve god and destroy Satan's creation.

that's awesome, golliwogs. thanks for 'educating' us in our language, on our computers, in our civilization. good to hear you're 'over racism'. unfortunately for you, white people aren't 'over' having their settlements destroyed and their people assaulted, raped, gang-raped, tortured and slaughtered by savage hordes of jungle hominids. you think your blame-shift tactics cover up the fact that blacks are VASTLY more dangerous than whites and commit 90% of interracial crime? you honestly think people the world over haven't worked blacks out? you might want to try covering your trail of utter destruction a little better.

who let them out of the zoo again?
If you can't spend a few minutes reading and down-voting the slimefesters, you can take 10 seconds to go to YouTube and give the effort a thumbs up if you have a YouTube account.
FYI - About FCKH8.
FCKH8.com is a for-profit T-shirt company with an activist heart and a passionate social change mission: arming thousands of people with pro-LGBT equality, anti-racism and anti-sexism T-shirts that act as “mini-billboards” for change. Started in 2010 with comedic viral videos that captured millions of views on YouTube, FCKH8.com has shipped almost 200,000 equality tees, tanks and hoodies to supporters in over 100 countries. T-shirts emblazoned with bold messages like “Some Chicks Marry Chicks, Get Over It,” “Straight Against Hate,” and ”Legalize Love” have been publicly talked about by celebrities including Jane Lynch, Adam Lambert, Perez Hilton, and Zac Efron - who’s raved about his own “Some Dudes Marry Dudes, Get Over It” shirt in the press. Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi even have their own pink “Some Chicks Marry Chicks, Get Over It” buttons. With over 305,000 followers on Facebook and 43,000 on Twitter, FCKH8.com has given over $250,000 to the equality cause through directly funded projects and donations to LGBT charities. In 2014 FCKH8.com expanded it's anti-hate message with campaigns and tees focused on fighting sexism and racism and supporting those important causes.
I hope DKos readers will help reverse the current YouTube numbers, and keep the haters from having the video removed.
