I've mentioned the Liberal Gun Club here on DK before.

The LGC is...well, let's throw their boilerplate here and then move over the jump for the RKBA boilerplate and an LGC news article.
The mission of The Liberal Gun Club is to provide a voice for gun-owning liberals and moderates in the national conversation on gun rights, gun legislation, firearms safety, and shooting sports. We serve as a national forum for all people, irrespective of their personal political beliefs, to discuss firearms ownership, firearms use, and the enjoyment of firearms-related activities free from the destructive elements of political extremism that dominate this subject on the national scale. We also actively develop and foster a variety of programs for the purpose of firearms training and firearms safety education, for both gun owners and non-gun owners.
Right to Keep and Bear Arms is a DKos group of second amendment supporters who have progressive and liberal values. We don't think that being a liberal means one has to be anti-gun. Some of us are extreme in our second amendment views (no licensing, no restrictions on small arms) and some of us are more moderate (licensing, restrictions on small arms.) Moderate or extreme or somewhere in between, we hold one common belief: more gun control equals lost elections. We don't want a repeat of 1994. We are an inclusive group: if you see the Second Amendment as safeguarding our right to keep and bear arms individually, then come join us in our conversation. If you are against the right to keep and bear arms, come join our conversation. We look forward to seeing you, as long as you engage in a civil discussion.
Liberals find comfort level in 'NPR of gun clubs'
Marlene Hoeber is feisty, tattooed, transgender, a self-described feminist, a queer activist - and a crack shot with her favorite "toys," guns of just about every kind.
Typical gun owner, right?
The group's members are generally "consistently left of the contemporary Democratic Party" but include "Clinton and Obama supporters, and even Reagan Democrats," Hoeber said.
Speaking as an admin over at the LGC, I don't think I've ever seen so many socialists in one place before. It's nice to be in far lefty country (the site itself) where you don't get pushed to the side due to your views on firearms.
Larry, a retired Episcopal priest who declined to give his last name for publication - he's worried about what friends and co-workers may think - says he found the club "the same way everyone else here did: I Googled 'liberal' and 'guns.' "
The Liberal Gun Club is "the only place that would have me," he said with a laugh, while loading his weapon. "A lot of us here have been kicked out of other gun forums because of our liberal views."
I encourage my fellow pro-second amendment liberals and Democrats to go check out the LGC. It's considerably less antagonistic than most pro/anti conversations we have here on DK.
I look forward to seeing more of us over at the LGC.
*FYI: I am a certified LGC firearm instructor and a moderator/administrator over on the LGC forums. I have not made any money from any of that.*
