To Whom It May Concern,
While I really like the Daily Kos website, there are a lot of other venues for leftward political discussion. DKos is a bookmark among several other favorites. I scan or browse through these sites during my day when I have a few free moments. Now, there are sites I don't visit because of obnoxious pop-ups. Slate and Salon have just one pop-up upon the initial visit, and that's just fine. I suppose that's my limit. Afterall, I want to read and concentrate on my content. Daily Kos, however, has become a bit of a pain because upon arrival to the site, it flips through every story posted since my last visit (I think that's what it is doing). Then, once I begin to scroll down to see the first story, I get the fundraising pop-up.
Maybe it's just Safari? I don't know. I'm probably not going to stop using Safari just to accommodate one site. Nevertheless, the manner with which I interface with Daily Kos has reduced my time spent here. I thought that someone, somewhere might find this helpful.
Best,
Arg. Advocate
