Brown runs with Wilson in pursuit

Wilson stops and continues to shoot second, fatal string of four rounds as Brown is falling

Minus the GSW in the hand, Five remaining shots entered in a pattern from the front, regardless of whether the hands were up, there is only one witness (#10) who nearly a football field's distance away testifies that any "charge" was made by Brown at Wilson which could actually be the falling forward of Brown facing Wilson. At 290 pounds, falling forward seems more likely and we know that he was dead before he hit the pavement.
Even more likely is that if the final round went through the top of the head, that Wilson was aiming downward following the path of the following body, since Brown and Wilson were the same height.
It would appear that round #4 of the six entering Brown's body, 12 rounds expended total, brought him down with #5 passing through twice and #6 the coup de grâce through the top of his head. Apparently Wilson shoots pistols with a left bias.
Forensic audio expert Paul Ginsberg analyzed the recording and said he detected at least 10 gunshots -- a cluster of six, followed by four.
With twelve rounds fired the first two were probably muffled by the SUV.
All six bullet wounds struck the front of Brown’s body, perhaps indicating he was facing the officer when killed.
However, the evidence is inconclusive.
Four of the bullets struck Brown’s right arm and hand, and with the various positions the arm can assume, there are scenarios in which he could have been facing away.
It appears the shots were not fired at close range, based on the lack of gunshot residue on the victim’s body. However, the doctors performing the private autopsy did not have access to Brown’s clothing.
Baden told the New York Times that one shot entered the top of Brown’s skull, indicating the teen’s neck was bent forward, and “it was likely the last of [the] bullets to hit him.” It was also likely the bullet that killed him. Baden, speaking at a press conference, said all of the other gunshot wounds were “survivable.”
