As I'm sure most of you have read, the House is voting on a $1.1 trillion cromnibus bill (continuing resolution omnibus) intended to keep most parts of the federal government funded through Sept. 2015.
As expected, corporate and Wall Street lobbyists are working overtime in the halls of the Capitol and many toxic provisions are being put into the bill at the last moment. Anyone who has followed an omnibus spending bill through a lame duck session of Congress knows its watching legislative sausage-making at its worst. These omnibus bills become like Christmas trees, with lobbyists and legislators hanging ornaments both good and bad while stuffing some of the worst stuff in at the bottom.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren is asking House Democrats to not vote for the Omnibus Bill because it contains GOP planted toxic provisions that repeal the Dodd-Franken financial reform law.
Granted, Dodd-Franken was a ghost of its former self by the time it was passed and put through the rule-making blender. But it does have some provisions that prevent risky Wall Street gambling.
Call your member of Congress and tell them to vote "no" unless the fin reg provisions are taken out.

Left revolts over funding bill
Tell them "no" on gutting Dodd-Frank, no on raising campaign contribution limits and no on cutting private pensions.
