Yes, Senator Udall, and, for that matter a lot of other members of the Senate's Select Committee on Intelligence, yes you can release the full 6,700-page, still-secret report, the “Committee Study of the CIA’s Detention and Interrogation Program”.
Quite frankly, I think, we all should demand the release. The United States has to come clean with its past and give millions of people inside and outside of America the hope that justice can be done and the wrongs of the CIA, Pentagon and the Congress and the White House be known, be investigated and be judged.
If you are angry about the U.S. torture program, if you are angry over the involvement of Health Professionals’ Central Role in the CIA Torture Program, if you are angry over the CIA and White House interference in the intelligence committee’s oversight work, you should loudly voice your insistence on the report been given to the public in full.
You should encourgae Senator Udall to inform the American people what its government has done and what the world's public needs to know to adjust their own roles towards their own involvement in the US torture and surveillance policies. I don't want my country being involved in this, not directly, not indirectly, not enabling, not by-standing.
With the words of a well known American Sec. of Defense, there are too many, way too many known unknowns to allow much of the world's population to trust the American foreign policies again.
Clean out your "Dreck", Americans. Senator Udall, hand us the broom. Be responsible. Do not be afraid. You will have the back of many grateful people, all over the world, when you step up and do what is right and what is needed. We want you to come clean, Americans. Because too many people in the world have trusted you and believed in the "American Dream of Justice and Liberty for all". You should not betray them ! Because without the release there is no chance for Justice and no chance for Liberty anymore in this country.
I am not the one who should write this diary. There are writers here that would do a much more appropriate and better job in doing so.
If this is only a reminder to those of you, then I would be happy to have posted this short request.
