Republicans on the House Arms Services Committee released a report today debunking one of their repeated lies:
"There was no “stand down” order issued to U.S. military personnel in Tripoli who sought to join the fight in Benghazi."

Of course, the Armed Services Committee report does cast a poor light on many of the particulars leading up the tragic events. This is to be expected from partisan crazy people looking to score political points instead of securing the safety of the brave men and women who serve in the military and foreign service.
More below the orange filigree.
Ever since republican talking heads have used Benghazi as a way to rile up their base simply by mentioning the name of the city, I have come to use these moments as a drinking game to honor the four brave who lost their lives on September 11, 2012.
For the uninitiated, similar to the repeated refrain, "Hi Bob," during the Bob Newhart Show, whenever Benghazi is injected into conversations (mostly as a non sequitur), I have responded, "Drink!"
But unlike the game played in college, whenever Benghazi is mentioned, I lower my head and raise my glass to show respect for Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyron Woods who gave their lives so that more us can live in peace.
Please join me now so that we can honor their memory.
"Benghazi....."
"Drink!"
