I'm sure it tastes much better than it sounds.
Rochester, New York is famous for many things, and one of them is the garbage plate. There's no actual garbage on it.

Imagine being in college, after a few too many celebratory drinks, rolling into your local greasy spoon, and asking the waitress for "one of those plates with all the garbage on it." That's how the Garbage Plate was born.
http://en.wikipedia.org/...
A Garbage Plate is a combination of two selections of cheeseburger, hamburger, red hots, white hots, Italian sausage, chicken tender, fish (haddock), fried ham, grilled cheese, or eggs; and two sides of either home fries, French fries, baked beans, or macaroni salad. On top of that are the options of mustard and onions, and Nick's proprietary hot sauce, a sauce with spices and slowly simmered ground beef. The dish is served with Italian bread and butter on the side.
There is apparently a consensus that Nick Tahou invented the Garbage Plate, and according to Wikipedia, Tahou holds a trademark on the name.
While not garbage, it is certainly not healthy. With a whopping 203 grams of fat (3 days worth, if you're counting),
Health.com named it one of the
50 fattiest foods in New York.
If that doesn't dissuade you, you can find eating instructions here.
11:24 AM PT: Correction from FischFry's comment: You don't go to Nick's if you have a hangover. You go when you're still somewhat inebriated.
