Obama put top priority on using traditional investigation methods to go after terrorists. That ended the dysfunctional minimal-results commitment to torture. Torture did not work.
Obama's second priority was getting bin Laden. And when it came down to the assassination attack, Obama chose the riskiest plan on the table so they could seize papers, computers and the like. That choice has paid off big time.
Let's see what a disgusting, failed, diminished, disaster Obama has been fighting terrorism.
-- Ronald Reagan 1981-1989 - Total deaths = 675; per month = 7.4
-- George HW Bush 1989-1993 - Total death = 0
-- Bill Clinton 1993-2001 - Total deaths = 444; per month = 4.6
-- George W. Bush 2001-2009 - Total deaths = 3,075 plus the terror attacks in Afghanistan and Iraq. Count civilian deaths and Bush43's numbers get to more than 100 a month.
-- Barack Obama 2009-2014 - Total deaths = 7; per month = 0.1
Obama is doing much, much better than Reagan or Bush43 or Clinton.
Our security people have gotten better at overseas protection work, somewhat slowly. Together with crippling Al Qaeda, these efforts have reduced casualties at risky locations. In-country hits have also diminished substantially -- the one hit came at Boston.
Anybody up for a summary? Can you take the truth ??? Terrorist Deaths Per Month -- how's that for a statistic?

Presents an argument for promoting CIA Director to President. Nothing big and bad happened during his administration.

Bush41 had been director of the CIA. He put overseas operations on a war footing early on, responding to Hezbollah threats. His actions were not continued by Clinton or his son. Bush41 did fight the Gulf War, which got started under a cloud. Diplomacy prior to the war seemed to encourage the Iraqi invasion.
Today, no surprise, the GOPers are out lying their xsses off about Benghazi. Reagan had a death total at 7 a month for his average month. Clinton got a 4.4 average month.
Obama is losing what?... 0.1 person a month from terrorism.
Who is the champion Protector of the Realm ???
Gee, the Black guy.
Does this remind anybody else of the Wilson vs. Manning Super Bowl ??? 43-to-8 for the score was closer than the play in that game. Same for Obama beating out Reagan, Clinton, or Bush43 at defense against terrorism.
Play to win, make it happen!
