We need to have a party for intellect.
It is overdue for sure, but now is a as good a time as has ever been,
Look: we have the right to pay for hundreds of channels of programming and most of them are of such low quality as to entice the watching of growing grass seem exciting in comparison.
But hey: I get to watch "J-Lo" strut her magnificent cheeks s she deludes herself into believing the advertiser's hype that says she is one of the most talented singers on the planet, so this has to be a fair trade-off for the other junk; right?
My grade school teacher once tried to get me to believe that factory jobs were the scourge of the nation, and that technology would be a better economic choice fr real job growth in the future.
I guess this is why she never got past the grade-school teaching arena. With keen economic senses like hers, she probably became the CEO of a fortune 500 company, where she caused the "migration" of "unwanted" jobs to the foreigners who deserved to toil and make money to feed their families, while the unemployed former workers became "blights" upon society by "milking" the system with their demands for their paid-for unemployment benefits.
Happy Birthday! Intellect, you were once a deep concern for schools to develop. of course now, you are wanted to remain dormant or at the very most, comfortably compliant and submissive to those who are in charge of keeping you tamed.
Blow out the candles on the cake that will never arrive: if this makes any sense, (they have been successful in their project!)
Get back to thinking and asking questions, even if they seem to be stupid ones, because we need to do something to change the course we are headed into, before it is too late!
