There is a group of people in the world who want to make profits so badly that they will destroy the world and everybody in it. They don't care about you. They don't care about your children. They don't care about the environment. They don't care about the future. They only care about one thing: the bottom line.
THEY want us to die so that they can make profits. Yes, there is a “They”, and it's people who put profits ahead of We, the People. Ahead of OUR country. Ahead of OUR future, ours, our children's, our children's children, and all succeeding generations, Human, animal, plant, and all life. They are so shortsighted, so concerned with the bottom-line, that they do not realize that they are condemning their own children to death.
This is a struggle to the death, because if we don't win, we will die. Yes, it's that serious.
THEY have successfully divided and conquered. THEY have divided this great country and this great world into small groups of people who dislike each other and mistrust each other, Instead of mistrusting ”them", and they done it very successfully. So successfully in fact, that is only now that we are finally seeing who the real puppet masters are.
“Liberal”, "Conservative", “Libtard", "Redneck","Tea partier”, "Hippie" and other terms such as that have divided us, have divided “We The People” to such an extent that we are fighting each other instead of uniting against the real enemy, those who would destroy our world for profit.
The people in West Virginia who are getting their water and land poisoned by corporations that sell coal are not rednecks; they are We The People. The people in New Jersey who were the victims of a false "Traffic study” are We The People. The shrimpers in the golf of Mexico who have seen their industry killed by oil spills are We The People. The fast food workers who are earning starvation wages while the CEOs of their companies earn millions upon millions are We The People. And yes, all children, of all nationalities, rich or poor, are We The People.
We are all in this together; It's time to recognize that. We all breathe the same air, drink the same water, walk on the same earth. No matter how much we may dislike each other for being different, we must stand together or we will die.
Look at your children; no, this is not a rhetorical question; LOOK AT THEM. What kind of world do you want them to inherit? Are you willing to sell your children's world because of an artificially whipped-up anger towards people of a different political stripe than yourself? Left wing, right-wing, centrist, nonpolitical, we're all in this together, like it or not.
Do you remember the Viet-Nam war? Do you know what stopped it?
What really stopped it was the Case-Church amendment, which defunded it. If you go to Wikipedia, you'll read all about it, but one essential line from the Wikipedia article was taken away; it was there, and now it's gone.
That line, which has now been redacted, said:
“Due to popular demand”.
It was taken out because any reminder of the real power of we the people has been erased so that we would forget our real power.
Yes, enough people mobilized that ”They" were forced to listen, even though when it became apparent that the Amendment would pass, President Richard Nixon and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger lobbied frantically to have the deadline extended. Yes, even those two incredibly powerful war criminals were not strong enough to go against the will of the people. When enough people finally came together into a critical mass, the Case-Church amendment passed the United States Congress with bipartisan support by a margin of 325-86 in the House, and 73-16 in the Senate. Both of these margins were greater than the two-thirds majority required to override a presidential veto. And the politicians who passed the amendment did so because We The People finally overcame our differences and told them to. They did not do it out of idealism; they did it because they realized their political lives were on the line.
We've done it before, we successfully forgot that we did it, and now we need to remember that we can do it, just as we did then. We have to work with people on every side of the political spectrum, and we have to use every weapon at our command, including quotations from people we might not like, Such as this one:
"The people, and the people alone, are the motive force in the making of world history."
