PA Treasurer Rob McCord strongly led a field of 5 Democrats contending for the nomination for Governor...but he did not win enough votes to avoid a primary. Second was Allyson Schwartz...

McCord has business experience and has already won state elective office twice, as State Treasurer.
He comes from a working class background, and seems to have strong statewide support except for Schwartz's area of SE Pennsylvania...

And he seems to be an actual Democrat...

This means we WILL have Democratic Primary this spring, but McCord's big lead over Schwartz- and the other 3 Democrats- as well as strong statewide support indicates we might have a good shot at displacing Teabag Tom Corbett and restoring some sanity to PA government in November.
