New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie gave a
straightforward and common sense defense of his choice to expand Medicaid at a town hall meeting Tuesday.
"We expanded Medicaid, because we believe that folks are better off going to see physicians and having care than going to emergency rooms all the time. […]"
Apparently that's only true for New Jersey folks, as far as Christie's concerned. Because the national group he's leading, the Republican Governors Association, is running
attack ads against Democrats precisely because they want to expand Medicaid. So, Mr. Christie, how come the rest of the country wouldn't be better off with regular health care?
