Welcome again to Saturday Morning Home Repair blogging, where we talk about fixing houses, the things in them that are supposed to work for us, and fixing them up. An ad hoc cadre of building professionals and gifted amateurs attempt to answer questions that arise from readers, and offer encouragement and advice for those inclined to do things for themselves, if they can. We all do a lot of things, collectively, and can probably help out with insights from our vast experience.
Or sometimes, we just gab.
The last post ended with this picture
It's come a long way since then.
They jumped to the old building next.
I was able to sneaking in some lighting also.
here is how the panels get cut
the electrician is suppose to be there to remove the meter can so that wall can be finished.
The big overhead garage doors were the next project.
The jams are 19 or so inches deep.
so I filled that in
The motorhome bay is waiting for lighting
it was inspected & passed.
Next thing I'll work on is the down spouts for the gutters. I already told them I would make the brackets to hold them on the building, No Way those shitty tin bans they use are going to be used. I bought 1 1/2 x 1/8 aluminum strap & will get them painted when I'm done fitting them. I have a friend coming over in the AM to tig weld the angle I need to make the drains work. I'll try to remember to take pictures.
