Since dumping Photobucket to become a member of the Flickrati my photostream has evolved into a visual diary. It's fun to keep track of my movements that way and it seems I'm not yet ready for gathering moss. Even though it has been a very late spring here I think April In New York still proved to the best visual month.
Not every photo in this diary is a fresh cut flower. I like to rummage through previous Aprils, proof positive that this it the latest spring in a long time. And I also like to dig up a few old gems. Does anyone remember this guy?
But more than a hundred of these snaps are brand new and posted to my Flickr account the day of or the day after taking the picture. I'm following doctor's orders, daily walks on soft ground. I found some of that in the parks, arboretums and botanical gardens. It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it.
Below you can view my April in chronological order. If you want to know the time, subject or camera used, just click on the snapshot for an explanation.
