Received this e-mail today from Senator Mark Begich (D. AK):
The Senate is currently considering a constitutional amendment to roll back the negative effects of Citizens United.
Citizens United has its supporters, including the Koch brothers. And as you might expect, they want to preserve and protect Citizens United rather than bring some sanity back to our campaign finance system.
But that’s not what I stand for. We need to rollback Citizens United, and we need your help to do it.
I’m joining with some of my colleagues to gather signatures on a petition to put an end to the disastrous effects of Citizens United -- click here to add your name.

Citizens United lover Dan Sullivan (R. AK)
There’s only one candidate in this race who actually supports Citizens United, who backed the decision when it happened and refused to fight it on behalf of Alaskans as our Attorney General. And that candidate ain’t me.
As long as I’m in the Senate, I’m going to keep fighting for campaign finance reform. Outside special interest groups stand to lose their outsized influence over our elections if campaign finance reform passes.
These outside groups can spend all the money in the world, but they can’t compete with a nationwide movement -- sign our petition and help us fix our campaign finance system.

Thanks for your support.
