Blackwater mercenaries, or is it Xe, or is it Academi, or is it ...
These are the un-American
assholes conservatives idolize:
Just weeks before Blackwater guards fatally shot 17 civilians at Baghdad’s Nisour Square in 2007, the State Department began investigating the security contractor’s operations in Iraq. But the inquiry was abandoned after Blackwater’s top manager there issued a threat: “that he could kill” the government’s chief investigator and “no one could or would do anything about it as we were in Iraq,” according to department reports.
They are so hated by pretty much everyone (except conservatives) that they changed their name from Blackwater to Xe, then to Academi, and now they're Constellis Holdings. No matter what they call themselves, they are still war-for-profit mercenaries. Screw them.
Ironically, it was the Nisour Square massacre that led the Iraqi government into refusing to sanctify any United States longer-term presence in Iraq, which likely had a role in the country's current collapse.
