With me at least.
So I had a package I needed to get to someone located about 150 miles away. Happened to be near a Fedex dropoff and stopped in. $45 for overnight, $26 for second day. Hm, ouch. Still I remembered their old slogan of "when it absolutely, positively..." and I have nothing against Fedex.
But I wanted to price shop a bit so stopped by the Post Office on my way home and they could send it Priority for under $6. Would get there second day. Okay, that works, it was 3:30pm at that point.
Next day I get a call mid-morning from the recipient of my package that it had arrived already. Nice!
Overnight morning delivery for six bucks. Honestly I think they should charge a bit more but that's excellent customer service in any case. Here's a shout out to the USPS and it's union employees!
full disclosure - yes my mother-in-law is a retired postmaster (but she was vacationing in Germany at the time).
11:45 AM PT: Now I didn't expect that. Rec list? Many thank. First time! double woot!! :)
Now if we can just get a display touchscreen put on the curbside mailboxes, younger generations will know how to work them...
12:03 PM PT: And now top of the rec list? I'm humbled... And unfortunately I'm also late to a client so will be back later to respond. Thank you all again.
