Recent travel through the South East has lead me to the startling discovery that the Red Roof Inn and Travel Lodge in Jacksonville Florida do not have MSNBC available on their TVs. They carry CNN and Fox but not MSNBC. I began to wonder if this is a local phenomenon or true of every Red Roof In and Travel Lodge across the country? Is this yet another part of the insidious game of hide and seek being played with the flow of information by the owners of the media pipeline? Aren't there anti trust laws of some kind that govern media markets?
A quick search revealed some interesting reviews and apparently it's La Qinta as well, but that was in the preview under the link. when you click the link, the relevant text is nowhere to be found. Maybe it's my search technique. To be fair, a review of Travel Lodge in San Antonio shows availability of Fox and MSNBC but no ABC or local news. So, there might be a less nefarious explanation. It seems odd though that this is the only listing that I could easily find the relevant text for.

Conspiracy? :o)>
5:39 PM PT: This post is not about whether or not I give a flying fuck about MSNBC. It's about the systematic blunt force information management that has this whole entire country brain washed.
